Terms of Service and Sale

2. Acceptance

By accessing or using Sydera, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3. What Sydera is

Sydera is a training and decision-support tool for competitive Fortnite players: sessions, diagnoses from your clips, targeted missions, progression tracking. It is a training aid: it offers no guarantee of results, earnings, rank or ranking, other than the effort guarantee described in section 9.

4. Eligibility and account

The service is intended for people aged 13 and over (see the Privacy Policy for minors). You can subscribe on your own from age 15. Under 15, the subscription must be taken out with a parent's approval. At payment, you confirm that you are 15 or older, or that you have a parent's approval. Sign-in uses a code or link sent to your email, with no password. You are responsible for access to your inbox and for actions taken from your account, and you agree to provide accurate information.

5. Access and availability

Access may be released in waves. The service may change, be interrupted for maintenance or be modified. We do our best to keep it available, with no guarantee of continuous availability.

6. Price and payment

The Sydera subscription costs €14.99 per month. VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French Tax Code. The price is shown before any payment.

You pay €14.99 on the day you subscribe, then €14.99 every month on the same date, until you cancel. There is no free trial. Payment is processed by Stripe. Access opens as soon as Stripe confirms the payment.

When it is offered in the app, the Coach review option costs €49.99 per month instead of €14.99. It adds reviews of your clips by a coach, up to one clip a day and five a week. Spots are limited. If you switch to this option mid-month, you pay the difference for the remaining days right away. If you go back to €14.99, what is left of your month comes off your next invoice.

If a payment fails, Stripe retries it. If it is still not paid, access ends at the end of the period already paid.

7. Cancellation

You can cancel whenever you want, in a few clicks, from the Subscription page in the app. After you cancel, no further payment is taken and you keep access until the end of the period already paid. The current month is not refunded, except under withdrawal (section 8) or the effort guarantee (section 9).

We may suspend or close access in case of serious breach of these terms or abusive use.

8. Right of withdrawal

You have 14 days from your subscription to withdraw, without giving any reason.

When paying, you expressly request that your access starts right away, before that period ends. If you then withdraw within the 14 days, we refund you within 14 days, minus an amount proportionate to the service provided until your withdrawal (article L221-25 of the French Consumer Code).

To withdraw, send a clear message to privacy@sydera.fr, for example: "I withdraw from my Sydera subscription taken out on [date], with the address [email]."

You can also use the withdrawal form in the annex to these terms.

9. Effort guarantee

If, within 28 days of your payment, you have completed at least 15 sessions in the app and played at least 4 eligible tournaments (excluding Skin Cups, Ranked Cups and OG Cups), and Sydera has not helped you, you can request a refund of everything you have paid.

The request is made from the app. We check the sessions and tournaments using your account data, then refund the payment method used.

The effort guarantee is a commercial guarantee. It adds to the legal guarantee of conformity (section 10) and does not replace it.

10. Legal guarantee of conformity

Sydera is a digital service supplied continuously. For the whole duration of your subscription, you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services (articles L224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code).

If the service does not conform, you can ask for it to be brought into conformity. If that is not possible or not done, you can get a price reduction or end the contract.

11. Your content (clips)

You retain ownership of the clips and content you submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process and analyze that content for the sole purpose of providing you the service (diagnosis, missions, progression). You can withdraw a clip from the app.

You warrant that you hold the rights to the content you submit and that it is lawful.

12. Acceptable use

• Do not misuse the service or disrupt its operation.
• Do not attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours without authorization.
• Do not resell, share your account, or redistribute the service without written agreement.
• Do not submit illegal or hateful content, or content that infringes others' rights.

13. Third-party services and Epic Games

Sydera relies on public Fortnite data (via Osirion) and on your Epic account information. Sydera is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Epic Games, Inc. Your Epic account and your use of Fortnite remain governed by Epic Games' terms.

14. AI-generated outputs

Diagnoses and missions are produced with the help of AI models. They may contain errors and do not constitute professional advice. In-game decisions remain yours.

15. Intellectual property

The service, its brand, interface and content (other than your own content) belong to the publisher or its licensors. No rights are transferred to you beyond normal use of the service.

16. Liability

We are liable for the proper performance of the service as provided by law. We cannot be held liable for any loss of rank, ranking or in-game earnings, or for unavailability caused by a third-party provider (Epic Games, Osirion, host). Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer.

17. Changes to the terms

We may change these terms. If a change is material, we inform you at least 30 days in advance. If you disagree, you can cancel before it takes effect. A price change only applies to the period after that notice.

18. Complaints and governing law

For any complaint or refund request, write to privacy@sydera.fr. We answer within 7 days and handle the request directly.

These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you can bring a claim before the court of your place of residence, and you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence.

Annex: withdrawal form

Model withdrawal form (annex to article R221-1 of the French Consumer Code). Complete and return it only if you want to withdraw. You can send it by email to privacy@sydera.fr.
